Malawian news source Nation Online reports that  Broadmax Holdings, a joint venture between Lebanon-based Angel Wireless and  local company Blantyre International Telecommunication Investments, plans to  invest around USD25 million in the launch of wireless broadband services in  Malawi.
 'The company is set to bring in wireless  broadband internet last mile services and WiMAX technology,' said Broadmax's  CEO, Chris Kanyuka. He added that the company will begin network rollout in  Blantyre and the surrounding area in mid-October, before moving to the Central  Region in November and the Northern Region in January 2010. The company is  expected to expand its network to the rest of the country in June  2010.
