Mobile operator Etisalat Nigeria announced that it has hit the one million subscriber mark. The company said the feat was achieved in less than one year of operations in Nigeria.
Controlled by UAE-based telecoms operator Etisalat, the mobile operator started operations in Nigeria last October. The Nigerian mobile market is dominated by African groups MTN and Zain and local operator Glo. Etisalat has been focusing on the quality of its services in its marketing, as well as value-added services such as homezone pricing and missed call alerts.
